This is the beautiful duo, Norah Sadava and Amy Nostbakken. I was asked to take their portraits for an upcoming project they are working on. I was lucky, they let me take a few extra shots just for fun so here they are. They are amazing women and actresses and I wish them all the luck in the world.

What a lovely day. Married on a dock. Doesn’t get much better than that. Here on some images from a wedding I photographed this summer.

Congratulations Michael and Pamela.

I find the most interesting people to shoot are those who you are closest with. This is my sister Dr.Lauren Brown! She is a naturopath in Port Credit and a lovely person.

Go see Dr.Lauren at her new clinic, also where some of my prints are on display and for sale!

My latest portrait for Readers Digest is of an amazing young woman named Zoe. She survived a horrific car crash while on a road trip with her family. She was saved by a heroic bystander but remained in a coma with a fractured skull, a broken nose, and several broken teeth, including cuts on her face that required 37 stitches. After a week in a coma, Zoe finally started breathing on her own. After a year of rehabilitation Zoe is looking forward to her fourth year at Queens University. She also has a lovely puppy Charlie, the family got this dog to help Zoe heal. This is a great story of heroism and survival and I was lucky to spend some time with Zoe and take her portrait. Go grab the August edition of Readers Digest and read the whole story.
